Job summary

Outlast is seeking a Facility Manager to own day-to-day operations at our Houston facility. You will run the full daily rhythm, yard, warehouse, processing, shipping, inventory, and documentation with a focus on safety, accuracy, and uptime.

You’ll lead from the floor, build processes where none exist, and drive measurable improvements in throughput and cost while embracing the Outlast platform as the operating system of the yard.

Qualifications

• Direct experience running or serving as #2 at a scrap yard or recycling facility.
• Hands-on ownership of receiving and shipping documentation, scale tickets, and inventory reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Run the full daily rhythm — open and secure the facility, manage delivery schedules, receiving, sorting, processing, and shipping.
• Personally inspect loads, run the scale, and operate equipment when needed; lead from the floor.
• Serve customers at the facility and execute every transaction accurately.
• Escalate issues to the VP of Operations with recommendations.
