Job summary

White Cap seeks a hands-on production teammate to fabricate reinforcing steel (rebar) according to work orders and customer specifications. This role involves safe operation of rebar fabrication equipment, material handling, and preparation of finished products for shipment in an industrial environment.

You will operate equipment such as shears and bending machines, inspect materials, and organize products for delivery while maintaining a clean, safe work area in a dynamic facility in Texas.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Experience in rebar fabrication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and specifications.
• Sets up and safely operates rebar fabrication equipment.
• Stacks, bands, and stages materials per production flow.
• Inspects finished materials to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Prepares completed products for shipment with protective materials (bracing, padding, strapping).
• Maintains a clean, safe, organized work area and adheres to all safety policies.
• Performs indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to varying weather conditions.
