Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude, ability to problem-solve and make decisions.
• Must handle and successfully complete basic railcar repairs and inspections.
• Demonstrates strong customer relations and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures.
• Must work in all weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Travel up to 50% (local, regional, overnight)

Responsibilities

• Railcar repair using current procedures and inspections for compliance.
• Meet customer expectations and requirements for satisfaction of work.
• Clerical tasks: invoicing, inspection, and work order information.
• Maintain all certifications and familiarity with AAR rules and regulations.
• Other work-related tasks as assigned.
