Job summary

Speedgoat Inc. in Framingham, MA, seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to build and test rack-based HIL systems in our lab and workshop. You will assemble, wire, and test complex rack systems, following schematics and test plans, and prepare complete systems for shipment.

You will document results, support FAT with customers, and collaborate with engineering and production teams. Some travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or an associate degree with equivalent practical work experience.
• Hands-on experience assembling, wiring, integrating, testing, or commissioning technical systems.
• Willingness to own work from assembly through final testing and runtime.
• Comfort with workshop- and lab-based work and reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate standard 24U, 38U, and 42U rack systems.
• Preassemble cables and wire rack systems per schematics and layouts.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and test complete rack systems and components.
• Create and maintain assembly, integration, and test plans.
• Perform electrical and functional testing to applicable standards.
