Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer for plastic injection molding. The role drives quality performance, resolves complex issues, and strengthens processes to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards.

You will lead quality strategy, develop inspection plans, support new product launches, and collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to achieve measurable improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Familiarity with FAI and PPAP.
• Experience programming/operating CMM (PC-DMIS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration and clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality strategy and execution across injection molding operations.
• Develop quality plans, perform contract reviews, and support new product launches.
• Provide timely communication and delivery of test reports to customers.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues through corrective actions.
• Develop and control inspection plans for molding and secondary operations.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
• Utilize and program CMM, Micro-Vu, optical comparators, and handheld measuring equipment.
• Assist the quality team with testing requirements.
• Mentor and develop quality team members; foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve manufacturing and quality challenges.
