Job summary

ATEK Metal Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our New Hampton, Iowa team. This role connects Quality, Engineering, Production, customers, and suppliers to ensure customer requirements are understood and met, support new product launches, investigate quality concerns, and drive improvements across aluminum manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will be hands-on with a strong focus on problem solving, detailed technical documentation, and collaboration on the production

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining PPAP documentation
• Creating and updating Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams
• Supporting new product launches from development through production
• Leading root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Analyzing quality trends and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Partnering with Engineering and Production to improve processes and reduce defects
• Working directly with customers and suppliers on quality requirements and concerns
• Supporting ATEK's ISO and IATF quality systems and audit readiness
• Helping drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the facility
