Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC seeks a hands-on QC Laboratory Leader to manage and develop a 24/7 analytical testing team in a specialty chemical environment. You will oversee lab operations, ensure quality systems, and partner with Production to maintain product quality and efficiency.

The role requires a BS or MS in Chemistry with extensive Analytical/Quality Control experience, plus 3+ years of leadership and strong instrumentation skills.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in Analytical/Quality Control Laboratory
• Proven laboratory leadership for 3+ years
• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop QC Laboratory team and daily operations
• Support 24/7 manufacturing by prioritizing workflow and resources
• Perform analytical testing with HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FT-IR, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, NMR
• Oversee organic analytical and wet chemistry testing of materials and products
• Review data, authorize release, maintain data integrity in ERP/LIMS
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA activities
• Maintain lab SOPs, methods, specs, and ISO/QMS compliance
• Manage resources, equipment, training, and performance
