Job summary

Dart Container is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and develop employees on the production floor, driving performance in safety, quality, service, production, and efficiency. You will coach teams, monitor operations, and ensure production goals are achieved safely and efficiently, spending about 75% of time on the floor.

Shift is 7pm-7am on a 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend off; training on day shift will occur before starting night shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing/production experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to train employees on processes and technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to meet goals.
• Promote safety and ensure adherence to policies.
• Schedule production priorities, equipment, and staffing to meet demand.
• Analyze KPIs and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Monitor attendance, assign lines, and coordinate breaks.
• Conduct floor audits and address performance gaps.
• Inspect product quality and ensure compliance with standards.
• Generate reports and maintain production and employee records.
