Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking a Production Intern for on-site work in Sedro-Woolley, WA. You will support engineers, manage small projects from design to manufacturing, and learn practical production skills in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program, with sophomore or junior standing, and US citizenship or permanent residency due to ITAR/EAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited college or university engineering program.
• US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident status due to ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Preferred sophomore or junior standing for internship.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of basic engineering principles to solve problems with a team of engineers.
• Manage small projects from preliminary design through detail engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning.
• Work independently with strong organizational skills and clerical proficiency.
• Communicate effectively, demonstrating appropriate tone and clarity to the audience.
• Identify opportunities, initiate actions, and handle increasing responsibility as needed.
• Complete assignments from assigned mentor and perform other duties as required.
• Maintain good attendance as an essential function of the job.
