Job summary

The Raymond Corporation in Muscatine, IA is seeking a Production Engineering Co‑Op (Machine Maintenance) for 2027. This in‑person role offers hands‑on experience in the Maintenance department, collaborating with the Maintenance Engineering team and mentors to develop skills for a future career.

You will analyze failure history, optimize PM programs, develop SAP dashboards, and contribute to ISO‑compliant documentation. The role includes involvement in annual shutdowns and capital projects.

Qualifications

GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Currently enrolled in a related engineering program.
Onsite availability at Muscatine, IA for Spring–Summer or Summer & Fall co‑op terms.

Responsibilities

Analyze equipment failure history and optimize preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Develop SAP dashboards to track key maintenance KPIs and provide data‑driven insights for continuous improvement.
Create, update, and standardize maintenance procedures, work instructions, and process documentation to support ISO requirements.
Assist maintenance technicians with equipment drawings, troubleshooting guides, and visual work instructions to improve problem solving.
Participate in the annual plant‑wide summer shutdown to support major equipment overhauls and capital projects.
