Job summary

You will work with industrial, quality, process, and product engineering to support new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Process design and RCA experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency with data analysis and SPC; SQL or scripting a plus.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current production processes and line layouts to identify bottlenecks and waste, proposing improvements to increase throughput.
• Lead root cause investigations for recurring defects or downtime using structured methods (5 Whys, fishbone, 8D, FMEA).
• Validate and optimize process flows, SOPs, and operator training materials.
• Implement and maintain process controls and SPC systems; monitor capability and trends.
• Support NPI and product transfers.
• Collaborate with engineering to specify tooling, fixtures, gauges, and test equipment.
• Coordinate with quality to define inspection criteria and FAI.
• Provide technical support during escalations, launches, and high-impact events.
• Train and guide technicians and senior operators on engineering methods.
• Report key metrics (OEE, FPY, throughput, scrap, downtime) and present improvement plans.
