Job summary

Agave in San Francisco is hiring a semi-technical generalist to become a deep product expert. You’ll work directly with engineers to spec, test, and ship product improvements — rolling up your sleeves in the weeds of complex integrations, edge cases, and real customer data. This role is about execution, not strategy.

You’ll report directly to our co-founder/CEO. You’ll bridge between engineering and customers, own the investigative, speccing, QA, and rollout work that keeps our product moving

Qualifications

• Must love operating in the messy weeds of nuanced systems and deliver concrete results.
• Experience with APIs, databases, SQL, or similar tools, or eagerness to learn.
• Meticulous, structured thinker who tests work thoroughly before completion.
• In-person work in SF five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Product Investigation & Spec: become deep expert on integrated systems, write precise specs.
• QA & Rollout: design test plans, catch edge cases, document rollout steps.
• Customer & Internal Feedback Loops: synthesize feedback into actionable specs.
• Process & Documentation: build internal docs and scale testing frameworks.
