Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Process Engineering Manager just north of Memphis, Tennessee, to lead process improvements and capital projects.

The role demands boots-on-the-ground leadership, problem solving, and collaboration with operations and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering background with 5+ years in chemical manufacturing, Six Sigma/Lean experience, and a track record of managing capital projects in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; other engineering degrees may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing capital projects.
• Strong hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outside contractors and employees involved in project activities.
