Job summary

CPS Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee, seeks a hands-on Process Engineering Manager to lead process improvements and support capital projects in a global chemical manufacturing setting.

You will identify optimization opportunities, develop cost‑effective engineering solutions, supervise outside contractors, and coordinate with operations and cross‑functional teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering; 5+ years in chemical manufacturing; Six Sigma/Lean experience; capital project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; other engineering degrees may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing capital projects.
• Strong hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas for process improvement.
• Develop and implement cost‑effective engineering solutions.
• Supervise outside contractors and employees involved in project activities.
• Manage capital and major maintenance projects.
