Job summary

MIC Metal Improvement Co LLC in East Windsor, CT is seeking a Process Engineer to join our R&D group. You will work closely with all departments at our Thermal Spray Surface Technologies facility, taking ownership from design to implementation on customer projects.

This hands-on role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 1–3 years in manufacturing, process, or quality engineering. You will analyze processes, support documentation, and collaborate on improvements on the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, process, or quality engineering experience.
• Knowledge of root-cause analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, configuration management, and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a project from design to implementation.
• Work within customer specifications and site standards.
• Continuous learning on new products, engineered coatings, and materials.
• Verification of final product.
• Work alongside the production engineering group to resolve issues.
• Perform basic root cause analysis.
• Hands-on role on the shop floor.
