Job summary

Tex Tech is seeking a New Product Development and R&D Engineer to join the Monmouth, ME team. You will help develop and optimize manufacturing processes for advanced materials, participate in plant trials, analyze data, and document results to support safe, high-quality, cost-effective products.

The role is hands-on and collaborative, requiring communication with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing, plus the ability to translate customer requirements into feasible process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Textile, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, or related field) required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing/process/ R&D experience.
• Experience with Needle Punch Non-Wovens and/or 2D/3D weaving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Support scale-up from lab to pilot to full production.
• Create and update product specifications and process documentation.
• Support safety, quality, and regulatory compliance during trials.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to resolve issues.
