Job summary

Aircond Corporation is seeking a Plumber Mechanic Helper to support plumbing mechanics in commercial and light industrial settings. You will measure, cut, and install piping, assist with layouts, and help keep work areas clean and safe.

The role requires basic math, familiarity with power tools, and the ability to respond to emergencies. A high school diploma or GED is required, with trade training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of trade/technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• 1–3 years plumbing helper experience in commercial or light industrial settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and assemble new pipe as directed.
• Cut or drill holes in walls or floors to accommodate pipe.
• Assist plumber with layout, assembly and installation of piping for various systems.
• Perform rough-ins, repair and replace fixtures and water heaters; identify leaks.
