Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking apprentices to assist in plumbing system installation at job sites in Michigan. You will help with piping, fixtures, and equipment installation while supporting layout and installation activities according to project specs.

You will read blueprints, measure and cut pipe, and operate hand and power tools under supervision, ensuring clean, organized work areas and strict adherence to OSHA safety policies and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, and equipment
• Support layout, assembly, and installation of water, drainage, and gas systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
• Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe using hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Participate in apprenticeship training programs and classroom instruction
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles
