Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. seeks a versatile Utility Person to support plant operations across housekeeping, maintenance, production, and equipment operation. You will monitor conditions, grease and lubricate equipment, and maintain plant cleanliness.

Responsibilities include assisting with production, quality control, and basic maintenance on mobile/plant equipment, with cross-training across areas. Willingness to work varied shifts and follow safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of equipment/plant operation or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read gauges/dials and make competent decisions.
• Dependable, self-motivated, fast-paced environment
• Willing to work irregular shifts (days, nights, weekends).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Safety-focused and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production, quality control, loading and shipping.
• Plant clean-up and lubrication.
• Preventative and routine maintenance on mobile/plant equipment.
• Cross-train in all plant areas.
• Operate plant-wide mobile equipment (Bobcat, Kubota, RTV).
• Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintain maintenance log.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Maintain housekeeping and positive attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.
