Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Utility Worker to support production activities and maintain plant and equipment cleanliness. This role emphasizes safety and hands-on tasks across janitorial and basic maintenance duties.

Responsibilities include operating basic tools, assisting with equipment cleaning, vehicle movement around the plant, and performing any other duties as assigned. Evening or night shifts may be required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash parking lot, plant equipment, and surrounding areas with a high pressure hose.
• Paint and wash plant equipment and building fixtures as necessary.
• Use standard hand tools and power tools.
• Operate company vehicles around plant and property.
• Perform general labor tasks including janitorial cleaning and vehicle washing.
• Maintain safety as top priority in accordance with all safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
