Job summary

Lakeshirts, inc. is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Detroit Lakes, MN facility. This role owns safety, quality, delivery, cost, people leadership, and continuous improvement across screenprint, embroidery, and related processes.

You will guide five Production Managers and a 250+ person team, setting a clear daily direction and turning performance data into action. The right leader is visible on the floor, steadfast under pressure, and committed to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading multiple managers in a high-volume plant.
• Proven Lean manufacturing and CI routines.
• Strong people leadership and cross-shift collaboration.
• Production planning and execution skills balancing demand and capacity.
• Knowledge of quality management and waste reduction.
• Data-driven with KPI and visual metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost.
• Set daily direction and manage through Daily Management Work System.
• Coach Production Managers and front-line leaders.
• Monitor productivity, downtime, and on-time delivery; adjust priorities.
• Align with Planning and Customer Service on daily schedules.
• Lead change with practical plans and on-floor ownership.
• Foster a team-first environment that wow customers.
