Mesa Associates, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join our Knoxville, TN team. This hands-on design role focuses on piping and pressure vessel work with senior engineers providing guidance.

You will grow skills in piping design, calculations, and documentation, with potential growth into HVAC and cross-discipline collaboration across power and industrial sectors. A strong work ethic and coachability are valued.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years in piping design, ideally in power generation or industrial environments.
• Ability to perform design calculations and produce deliverables independently, with senior review.
• HVAC design exposure is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; works well across multi-discipline project teams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform piping design, sizing, and routing tasks under senior engineer guidance.
• Prepare engineering designs and supporting documents for piping and pressure vessel scopes.
• Support process calculations within Mechanical group; no separate Process Engineering function.
• Perform walkdowns and collect field data on existing piping and pressure equipment.
