Job summary

Job Juncture seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering treatment plans and therapeutic exercises. You will document patient care, participate in department meetings, and help manage office tasks while ensuring infection control and safety protocols are followed.

The role requires an active PT license, an associate degree in physical therapy, CPR certification, and reliable transportation to serve patients across the clinic.

Qualifications

• Must have an APTA‑accredited associate degree in physical therapy.
• Must hold an active state physical therapy license.
• CPR certification must be current and valid.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Treatment Plans: implement PT treatment plans developed by the PT.
• Therapeutic Exercises: provide non‑complex active and passive exercises, massage, traction, and modalities.
• Document Patient Care: accurately document records and submit paperwork weekly.
• Educational Participation: attend meetings and assist with department in‑services.
• Report Issues: notify PT or Executive Director of equipment or staffing issues.
• Scheduling and Office Tasks: schedule patients and perform routine office duties.
• Infection Control: apply universal precautions during patient care.
• Clinical Assignments: accept tasks matching education and competence levels.
• Promote Compliance: educate and coach on payer requirements as needed.
