Millwood Inc. is hiring a General Laborer to support hands-on physical work and basic machinery operation at our Belle Mina, AL site. You will contribute to efficient production and customer satisfaction by handling pallets, inspecting materials, and keeping work areas safe and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read imperial system.
• Pneumatic nailer training completed.
• Related experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety guidelines and protocols.
• Inspect and repair pallets for defects including broken boards, blocks, missing components, nails or debris.
• Lift and carry materials as needed.
• Store materials and products properly to conserve space and follow safety procedures.
• Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities.
• Sort and stack pallets by size and grade.
• Complete and submit required documentation promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety practices and applicable codes.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
