You will test, troubleshoot, and support MV switchgear and electrical equipment; review schematics; verify protection circuits; and coordinate with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing of MV switchgear and related equipment.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot protection, control and wiring faults.
• Experience with reading electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on testing of medium-voltage switchgear and related equipment.
• Support functional testing and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
• Troubleshoot electrical, protection, control, wiring and equipment issues.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams and specs.
• Verify protection circuits, CT/PT circuits, trip/close circuits and interlocks.
• Support protective relay testing and configuration activities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and QA to resolve issues.
• Participate in first-article builds and product testing.
• Document results and assist root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE/ANSI standards and customer requirements.
