The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, has metal experience, and is comfortable using hand tools while adhering to quality standards. Prior crane experience is a plus, and a safety-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with metal grinding, forming, fabrication or similar manufacturing work.
• Ability to safely use hand tools around metal and sharp materials.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and move materials as needed.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Basic shop math and ability to read simple blueprints.
• Ability to use or learn precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Unload finished parts from Gemini machine.
• Grind, deburr, and finish metal parts.
• Sort, count, and organize parts by production orders.
• Select and use appropriate hand tools for tasks.
• Maintain production and quality standards.
• Record completed work in the computer system.
• Use measuring tools to verify parts and dimensions.
• Identify and report material, production, equipment, and quality concerns.
• Maintain equipment performance logs and communicate maintenance needs.
• Participate in operator-level preventative maintenance.
• Move materials safely throughout the work area.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow all safety procedures and assist other departments as needed.
