Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Strong SolidWorks experience with hardware integration.
• Experience with electrical harnesses, sensors, actuators, and control modules.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, DFMEA/PFMEA, DVP&Rs.
• Ability to work across mechanical, electrical, software teams and manufacturing.
• Hands-on prototype builds, testing, validation, and production release.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and mechatronic systems for vehicle applications using SolidWorks.
• Create CAD models, drawings, and documentation with GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Integrate mechanical systems with electrical hardware including wiring harnesses and sensors.
• Collaborate with electrical, controls, and software teams for system integration.
• Support prototype builds, vehicle installations, testing, validation, and production launch.
• Perform engineering analysis using hand calculations and SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, or COMSOL.
• Lead or support cross-functional projects from concept through production release.
