Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Operations Technician Level I in Florida to support repair of low complexity conveyors and Metal Detector systems. You will follow detailed procedures, diagnose equipment, document actions, and assist higher level techs while learning for advancement.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, teamwork, and hands-on training across multiple tooling and assembly tasks, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years minimum experience in electrical and/or mechanical repair of industrial machines.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and safety awareness.
• Excellent quality focus and time management.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed work instructions, processes and procedures.
• Diagnose, refurbish and repair product inspection equipment per guidelines.
• Report problems to Repair Supervisors or Repair Manager.
• Document actions by completing quality checklists.
• Assist higher level techs and learn for advancement.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Carry out entry level SAP transactions and support production orders.
