Roto Group in Dublin, OH is seeking a Mechanical Exhibit Builder to design, prototype, assemble, test and install interactive exhibits. You will work on comprehensive mechanical solutions, integrating gears, pulleys, motors, hydraulics, and custom parts while maintaining thorough documentation.

The role requires 1 year of direct mechanical experience or a mechanical technology degree, with CAD/SolidWorks proficiency a plus. Strict safety practices and multi-project coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year direct experience or a college degree in a mechanical technology field.
• Ability to integrate electro-mechanical devices into exhibit cases.
• Proficiency reading engineering, production, and shop drawings.
• Experience with CAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks or similar drafting software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Research, develop and build mechanical solutions for exhibit assignments.
• Prototype devices and activities using mock-ups and tests.
• Perform installations, repairs and upgrades with client/subcontractor coordination.
• Maintain full documentation including parts lists, schematics and backups.
• Keep workspace neat and organized; follow safety policies.
