Job summary

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program with anticipated Aug 2027 graduation or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Interest in Mechanical Engineering and desire to develop skills for WSP projects.
• Strong communication and professional presentation to engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Ability to take direction from mentors and leaders to execute projects.
• Baseline technical writing and office software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Mechanical Engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analyses.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete assigned training tasks.
• Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and policies.
