WSP USA seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Hamilton, NJ. This full-time internship provides hands-on work experience, mentoring, and exposure to real projects alongside senior staff.

The 12-week program begins May 17, 2027. Interns assist with engineering tasks, design calculations, project documentation, and field work while upholding WSP safety policies and conduct guidelines.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an Electrical Engineering undergraduate or graduate program with expected graduation Aug 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Demonstrated interest in electrical engineering and desire to develop skills for WSP projects.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication for engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Ability to take direction from mentors and leaders on projects.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing and common software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of electrical engineering.
• Support project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations/analysis.
• Help prepare final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Collect and maintain project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
