Job summary

Acucraft invites you to join our Engineering team in Big Lake, MN as a Mechanical Design Intern. You’ll work hands-on with SolidWorks, draft production drawings, and help maintain bills of materials while learning manufacturing basics from experienced designers and engineers.

You will participate in design reviews, document questions, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. The internship is in-person with a weekday schedule and $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Classroom, lab, or personal design projects showing mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Basic familiarity with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software through coursework or projects; Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft SolidWorks parts and assemblies under guidance.
• Support production by participating in design reviews and on the shop floor.
• Apply design for manufacturing principles to simplify parts and improve fit.
