• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software, drafting standards, and sheet metal layout.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
• Direct, practical problem-solver who communicates effectively between engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Design custom structural weldments, sheet metal assemblies, and fabricated components using 3D CAD (SolidWorks/Inventor).
• Generate detailed production drawings, flat patterns, cut lists, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to streamline production efficiency and material yield.
• Work directly with shop floor fabricators, welders, and machinists to troubleshoot and optimize builds in real time.
