Job summary

Japanese Manufacture in Hebron, OH is seeking a hands-on Mechanical / Automation Engineer to join our manufacturing team, supporting machinery and control systems on site.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of experience or recent grads; a Bachelor's in ME/EE/Robotics/Automation/Mechatronics is encouraged. Relocation is welcomed.

This exempt, full-time role offers a 7:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule, onsite work, and a path to advance in industrial automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Automation, or Mechatronics.
• Recent graduates welcome; 1–5 years of experience considered.
• Hands-on manufacturing or factory environment experience is a plus.
• Strong interest in machinery, robotics, automation, or related systems.
• Willingness to relocate if outside the Hebron area.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical and automation projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Assist with installation, replacement, modification of machinery and equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment for upgrades or modifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
• Support testing, commissioning, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and shop-floor staff.
• Follow safety and operational procedures.
• Participate in hands-on engineering activities and problem-solving.
