Job summary

Nothum Manufacturing Company in Missouri is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to read shop prints, assemble mechanical components, and verify fit and alignment in a fast-paced, indoor shop.

You will use measuring tools, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with leads to meet production goals while contributing to the design and build of systems used globally in food production. This role requires standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with tools, nuts, bolts, and equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply measurements with accuracy.
• Willingness to adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and team protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Indoor manufacturing with temperature controlled enviroment
• Exposure to dust, noise, and machinery using electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical power
• Standing and walking on concrete floors for 8–10 hour shifts
• Frequent bending, stooping, crawling, reaching, and climbing
• Lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs independently; team lifting required for heavier loads
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety footwear

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools, nuts, bolts, and equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply measurements with accuracy
• Willingness to adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and team protocols
