Job summary

M&D is seeking a Manufacturing Technician - Level 1 at our Blaine, MN facility to support shop productivity through various stages of production and repair. You will assist with assembling, welding where skilled, and maintaining safe, clean work areas.

Responsibilities include using hand and power tools, operating equipment, and helping intake and disassemble engine components as needed. This role requires adherence to safety policies and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift and ability to become forklift certified.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude for assembly and repair tasks.
• Ability to repeat motions and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Pre-employment background and drug screening completed.
• Positive teamwork and coworker relations.

Responsibilities

• Use various hand tools, torque wrench, presses, air compressor, hoist, sandblaster, paint gun, grinder, band saw, and other equipment.
• Operate power tools.
• Prep products for assembly.
• Assemble products in various stages of production.
• Welding products in various stages of production, dependent upon skill level.
• Operates various machines throughout the assembly and production process.
• Intake and disassemble engine cylinder heads and various products serviced by location.
• General shop responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
