Therm-x of California is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor in Hayward, CA. This full-time role oversees daily operations of multiple production departments, balancing floor leadership with administrative duties and ERP transactions to meet schedules and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP/MRP experience preferred (Epicor experience a plus).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively on both office and shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of specified departments on the manufacturing floor.
• Plan and coordinate labor resources to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor WIP and ensure timely movement of parts through finishing and cleaning processes.
• Ensure operators follow approved SOPs, work instructions and quality requirements.
• Maintain and update department training matrix and coordinate training activities.
• Spend significant time on the floor supporting operators and maintaining safety and quality compliance.
• Balance floor presence with administrative tasks including scheduling, ERP transactions, reporting, and communications.
• Lead by example through active engagement with employees and daily observations of activities.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies.
• Participate in Timecard management, talent acquisition, performance, policy enforcement, and disciplinary actions.
