Job summary

Emerge is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer in Coudersport, PA to design, plan, and optimize manufacturing processes. You will lead new process installations, collaborate with vendors, and drive continuous improvement to reduce costs while maintaining process efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing, proficiency with CAD/SolidWorks, and familiarity with Fanuc Robotics, RSLogix/Panelbuilder, and HMIs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years manufacturing work experience required.
• CAD software proficiency, SolidWorks preferred.
• Fanuc Robotics, AB Panelbuilder, RSLogix/Panelbuilder a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
• U.S. person required (ITAR/EAR compliance); no Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and define manufacturing processes to meet operational goals.
• Lead installation of new processes and equipment, coordinating with vendors.
• Recommend equipment, layout, and material changes to optimize production.
• Analyze processes to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
• Prepare cost estimates and standard hours for new product quotes.
• Develop method instruction sheets and train supervisors on efficiency.
• Apply ergonomic principles to layouts and processes.
• Support facility modifications for new production equipment.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work environment per 5S.
• Ensure ITAR/EAR compliance and company export controls.
