Job summary

Reputable manufacturer in Ada, Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead an experienced, multi-shift operation on the shop floor in a climate-controlled facility.

You'll coach direct and indirect reports, drive safety, quality and on-time delivery, and partner with top leaders to shape the plant's operational strategy. Expect hands-on leadership, strong accountability, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of similar fast-paced manufacturing management experience.
• Experience leading direct and indirect reports.
• Experience initiating continuous improvement efforts.
• Experience working in QMS environments (ISO, IATF).
• Experience leading RCA (root cause analysis) and formal problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, motivate and coach direct and indirect reports.
• Maintain safety, quality and on-time delivery for the department.
• Champion root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and determine corrective actions.
• Evaluate production schedules and modify as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve the manufacturing process (scrap, downtime).
• Ensure HR compliance and complete documentation.
• Participate in leadership team meetings and update management.
• Utilize ERP and MS Excel for reports and analysis.
• Partner on capital equipment projects with cost justification.
