Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a Bristol, CT manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, capable of independent work, and proficient with machining, welding, and repair tools. Forklift experience is a plus, and a commitment to preventing downtime is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read equipment instructions, diagrams, and technical information.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems affecting production machinery.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Use welding, grinding, and machining tools to make mechanical repairs.
• Repair electrical boards, cords, and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce failures and interruptions.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and replacements.
• Assist with designing/upgrading production equipment.
