Job summary

OW Lee in Comfort, TX seeks a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility and equipment running smoothly. You will support the maintenance department with repairs, upkeep, and preventative tasks while learning and growing in a hands-on role.

The ideal candidate has general maintenance or mechanical experience, basic tool skills, and a willingness to learn. This position offers on-the-job training and a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• General maintenance, handyman, construction, landscaping, or mechanical experience is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance.
• Ability to read, write, and speak basic English; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general building maintenance and repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and the facility.
• Help with minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting projects.
• Assist with equipment moves, assembly, and facility improvement projects.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
