Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance / Facilities Associate in Dallas, TX. The role involves moving furniture and warehouse materials, ground and facility upkeep, snow removal when needed, and operating a floor scrubber and forklift. Basic electrical and HVAC tasks are part of the daily duties.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and experience with hand tools, preventative maintenance, and basic welding. Flexible schedules and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Equivalency/GED.
• Experience with hand tools/saws daily.
• Preventative Maintenance experience or clear understanding of it.
• Some basic welding experience is a plus.
• Repairs to assembly cells and installing safety devices.

Responsibilities

• Move office furniture and warehouse material.
• Ground facility and upkeep.
• Snow removal and salting when necessary.
• Operate a floor scrubber and stand-up forklift.
• Perform manual material handling of various parts and equipment.
• Basic maintenance on dock doors and warehouse.
• Use Excel for audit forms and online communications.
