Job summary

Production Saw & Machine Co. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Michigan. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing machines and equipment to ensure continuous production.

You will review work orders, delegate tasks, and coordinate with service providers and purchasing to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be able to work with the maintenance team to uphold safety standards and

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting expertise with manufacturing equipment.
• Experience repairing, maintaining, and installing machines and tools.
• Ability to review work orders and delegate tasks to team members or outside contractors.
• Communicates and coordinates service, repairs, parts, and purchasing with the department.
• Adheres to safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders to determine work priorities and delegate the work to Team members or outside contractors.
• Repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Personally repairs machines and equipment as necessary.
• Communicates and coordinates service, repair, and parts, and coordinates with the purchasing dept.
• Performs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide a continuous supply of air required for operations.
• Requests tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
• Complies with company policies and safety regulations.
• Actively participates in the development, enforcement, and training of Safety Programs relative to the Maintenance department and OSHA regulations.
