Job summary

Fraser Ventures in Detroit, MI seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead our on-site facilities team and manage both commercial and residential properties. This hands-on supervisor role combines leadership with substantial project work and interaction with contractors, vendors, and leadership.

The candidate should bring 5+ years in carpentry/renovation and strong project coordination skills, along with a valid MI builder’s license and driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on carpentry and facilities supervision experience.
• Experience coordinating outside subcontractors and managing bids.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Valid Michigan builder’s license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize work orders across commercial and residential properties.
• Oversee small commercial projects involving 1–3 trades from scope to completion.
• Coordinate with GC/CM and act as internal liaison to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Oversee scheduled maintenance of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and roofing.
