Job summary

Oldcastle APG in North Salt Lake, UT is seeking a Maintenance Manager to supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and activities in the plant. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting, along with PM program management.

You will work with the Plant Manager to prioritize production needs, maintain spare parts, and ensure EH&S compliance, while building a capable maintenance team and managing costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Maintenance Manager or equivalent in manufacturing.
• Ability to maintain/repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and controls equipment.
• Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and support to the maintenance team and their efforts, including troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Observe plant operations to ensure equipment runs at optimal quality and performance.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program, assign tasks, audit PMs, and modify PMs as needed.
• Ensure EH&S compliance and maintain a safe environment for all personnel and visitors.
• Partner with Plant Manager to prioritize needs of production.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and resources for projects and PMs.
• Provide leadership including coaching, discipline, vacations, and training needs.
• Be hands-on and integral to the maintenance team.
• Collaborate with Plant/Site Manager to control costs.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
