Job summary

Wells Concrete Products, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead preventive maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and facilities. You will oversee a team, assign tasks, and ensure safety compliance while driving reliability and productivity in day-to-day operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to preventing downtime. A focus on safety and collaboration with Production is essential to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid understanding of diesel engines, mechanics, electrical and general engineering.
• Experience planning maintenance operations and documenting activity.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and safety procedures in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation and scheduling for preventive maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
• Assigns personnel to tasks and ensures adherence to company rules and safety.
• Plan and schedule maintenance to maximize use of personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Inspect and support maintenance of plant safety systems, including fire protection.
• Complete maintenance work orders, document repairs and parts used.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest reliability improvements.
