The State of Missouri is seeking an entry-level Maintenance and Grounds Technician to support the OA-FMDC Operations Team in Jefferson City. You will handle building, grounds, and equipment upkeep and participate in semi-skilled trades tasks across state facilities.

Responsibilities include operating lawn care equipment, performing routine repairs, and responding to maintenance requests with a safety-first mindset. This role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in light trades work; general maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred; FMDC can provide if needed.
• Valid Missouri driver license or adjacent-state license if residing outside MO.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance on buildings, facilities vehicles, and equipment.
• Maintain grounds including debris removal and snow removal.
• Operate lawn maintenance tools and equipment such as mowing machinery and tractors.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide coverage at other facilities as needed.
• Complete work orders promptly and accurately.
