Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Johnstown, NY, is seeking a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead maintenance, engineering, and reliability for a latex paint/colorant and resin facility. You will manage 5-15 maintenance staff, drive uptime, plant efficiency, and continuous improvement on the production floor.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree (ABET-accredited), has manufacturing leadership experience in high-volume batch environments, and is comfortable working hands-on on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Experience leading maintenance and engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on leader comfortable working on the production floor.
• Experience with high-volume batch manufacturing facilities.
• Familiarity with PLCs, electrical controls, and equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead 5-15 maintenance employees to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Oversee maintenance, equipment reliability programs, and facility projects.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and plant leadership.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, overtime, and performance accountability.
