Job summary

Praxis Packaging Solutions is seeking a mechanically inclined maintenance technician to set up and troubleshoot packaging equipment. You will collaborate with Production on line change-overs and manage downtime to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic repair knowledge.
• Ability to read technical documents.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Ability to organize priorities and workload.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust (sizes and speeds) and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Coordinate line change-overs with Production.
• Manage time to minimize downtime.
• Complete lock-out/tag-out and start-up paperwork.
• Identify mechanical problems and report to Maintenance Lead.
• Perform preventative maintenance per PM program.
• Follow safety policies and PPE procedures.
• Contribute to quality management through data and actions.
