Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine setup and operation.
• Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow product layout and production specifications, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues or irregularities during production.
• Must be able to complete tasks that require a particular speed or productivity quota.
• Must be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and operation of assigned machines in accordance with company procedures.
• Run material through the assigned machine following company and customer specifications, ensuring correct materials are used for each order to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure all inventory entries are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Inspect product to maintain quality standards; immediately report any defects or concerns to the Production Manager.
• Meet all efficiency standards established by the company for the assigned machine and department.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall facility cleanliness.
• Follow all company safety policies; report any safety or machine maintenance concerns, and assist with two-person feeds as necessary.
• Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
